Our business is sensitive to environmental issues, put in place a number of actions to reduce our impact on the environment:
- Tubs and selective waste sorting
- Strict limitation of the use of plant protection products (pesticides) in the campsite
- Establishment of flowering meadows to encourage pollinating insects
- Planting of native species and local (flowers and trees)
- Automatic lighting and limited night
- Vigilance vis-à-vis water loss
- Environmental awareness through a variety of publications and specific documentation available at the reception
On the other hand camping in the Great Turtle is located in a particularly preserved close to rare and fragile nature environment. So much of the Loir is inventoried in Natural Area of Ecological Interest, Fauna and Flora and Thore-la-Rochette has a limestone lawn classified at European level with many orchids (17 in total): burned Orchis Orchis monkey military Orchis Orchis purple … a real show likely to look with the eyes; the majority of these species being protected.
